January Week Four Update
Steady progress is being made on the first block of rooms being refurbished. In phase two of the restoration, the lobby and bar will be completely redesigned. We have learned that the hotel’s lobby will focus on a centered bar featuring a 15-foot, backlit backbar set beneath two oversized beaded pendant lights and an Erte-inspired mural on a silver-leaf canvas by Evans & Brown of San Francisco.

i will like to khown when does the first block of rooms will be ready?
The first new rooms are scheduled for completion in early April.
i am coming in march, and would like to know what to expect with the rooms, lobby, bars...will anything be nice and new or will it be old?
When the renovations' complete will the hotel have any job openings? Will you post them online or in the newspaper?
Kara - teh first rooms will not be ready until April and the lobby renovation will be done in Phase II starting in December. So, while the hotel will not be brand new in March it will still look nice and be enjoyable.
